Awareness of fire safety is growing and an increasing number of door designs are available with a fire-check option.

Fire-check doors can save lives by buying time for occupants to escape.

The most common fire-check door rating is ‘FD30’, so fire-check doors are commonly abbreviated as FD30 doors.

Not all sizes are available as FD30, so click on the design you like and look for the flame symbol to confirm that the door in the size you require is FD30.

Some doors are also available with a higher fire-check rating – FD60 – allowing more time for escape.
